 Nguyen Thu Thuy- a visual artist based in Hanoi (born 1971) and general director of New Hanoi Arts Co.,Ltd. She is a founder and design leader of Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural (HCM) project, which won the Guinness World Records certificate for the largest ceramic mosaic in the world in October 2010. She keeps this GW Record until now. After HCM project, Thu Thuy continues develop several public arts projects in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Truong Sa, Da Nang (Vietnam) and Choisy le Roi (France).

- In April 2018 Nguyen Thu Thuy won a Silver A’Design Award for her Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mirror House. Thu Thuy attended the glamorous Gala Night and Award ceremony of A’Design Award & Competition on 29th June in Teatro Sociate Como. Her Photobook and posters of Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mirror House were exhibited in the Exhibition of Design winners in the museum of Design MOOD in Como-Italy.
- From June to October 2017 : Thu Thuy and New Hanoi Arts collective had been renovated and completed the Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mirror House Decoration by 800m2 of little ceramic mosaic tiles and reliefs on the facades and interior of the building with the theme “Vietnam Ocean” in Thong Nhat park, Hanoi.
- From October to December 2016 : Thu Thuy gave birth the idea and was the Chief Designer for Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mirror House Decoration ( For façades and Interior of the building) with the theme “ Vietnam Ocean”.
- In June 2017, Thu Thuy and New Hanoi Arts collective won the Bronze at the 10th International Design Awards (IDA) in Los Angeles (USA) for the mural of Vietnam Tropical Garden at Da Nang International airport ; Thu Thuy also won the Honourable mention of 10th International Design Awards (IDA) for her Love Hanoi mosaic Heart sculpture by the Truc Bach lake. Thu Thuy attended The International Design Awards Ceremony, honoring the winners of the 9th and 10th Annual International Design Awards competitions at A+D Museum in Los Angeles, CA (USA).
- In March 2017, Thu Thuy and New Hanoi Arts collective completed the mural of Vietnam Tropical Garden at Da Nang International airport .
- In June 2016, Thu Thuy received the Certificate of Achievement from Vietnam Navy Command Department for her contribution to create Vo Nguyen Giap park in Son Ca island (Spratly archipelago).
- In May 2016, Thu Thuy and New Hanoi Arts collective completed Vo Nguyen Giap park in Son Ca island (Spratly archipelago). In the centre of the park located the Portrait statue of General Vo Nguyen Giap and the Historical ceramic wall (24,5m long x 2,5m high) with 300 documentary photos printed on ceramics by Nguyen Thu Thuy.
- In march 2015, artist Thu Thuy won the Honourable mention of International Design Awards (IDA) in Los Angeles (USA) for her Golden Lotus Fountain in Hanoi ( Mai Xuan thuong park).
- In 2014, Thu Thuy designed and completed 2 new public art works in Hanoi : Mosaic Golden Lotus Fountain (4.5m high, 8m diameter) and Love Hanoi mosaic Heart sculpture (3m x 3,5m high).
- From June to September 2014, Thu Thuy and New Hanoi Arts collective completed a big ceramic mosaic mural named “Hanoi Spring” (11mx 12m high) in 9th floor and another one named “Hanoi Autumn” (4m x6,4m high) in 38th floor of Hanoi Lotte tower .
- In 2012 and 2014, Thu Thuy and New Hanoi Arts collective completed the huge Vietnam Ceramic Mosaic Flag (312m2) and 6 murals in Truong Sa islands (Spratly Islands), the biggest mural from wich is 4,5m high and 20m long.
- In 2013 Thu Thuy designed and completed the ceramic mosaic “ Vietnam – France friendship” in Choisy le Roi city hall (France) to mark the 40th anniversary of Les Accords de Paris in 1973 and mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and Vietnam.
- In 2012 : Certificate of Achievement by Defence Ministry for artist Nguyen Thu Thuy for her contribution to Public Arts in Spratly islands.
- September 2012, artist Thu Thuy received Certificate of achievement (Honrable Mention) of the Mural Design Contest hosted by U.S.Embassy Hanoi and the Cat Ba Langur Conservation project.
- In 2011 she designed and completed the ceramic mosaic teapot Fountain in Thai Nguyen and Ceramic Mosaic Lotus in steps in Thanh Hoa pagoda.
- In 2011 : Artist Nguyen Thu Thuy received Certificate of Achievement from Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung for her contribution to Public Arts in Hanoi and Vietnam.
- 2010 : Certificate of Guinness World Records for the Largest Ceramic Mosaic in the world (3.85 km long – 6.950m2)
- 2010 : artist Thu Thuy received the Certificate of Merit for honorable citizen of Hanoi capital from President of Hanoi People Committee.
- 2008 : Bui Xuan Phai Award for the Idea of Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural project – the Gift to celebrate Hanoi Millennium (1010-2010).
- In October 2008 she visited Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, Chicago Public Arts Group, Art Start in Sonoma County, California.
- From 2006 to 2010 she was the founder and artist leader of Ceramic Mosaic Mural Project in Hanoi.
- 2006 : participated in Journalism course organized by the International Institute for Journalism (IIJ) of InWEnt Capacity Building International in Berlin, visited 8 European cities. After visiting Antonio Gaudi’s architecture in Barcelona and Hundert Wasser’s building in Damstard, Thu Thuy gave birth for her idea of Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural project along Hanoi Red river concrete dyke as a gift to celebrate Hanoi Millennium in 2010.
